Since
the Industrial Revolution man's relationship with the planet
he inhabits has changed profoundly.
He has become a voracious consumer of its natural
products, often converting them into useless or harmful
by-products and waste.
As he enters the new Century his output of waste is far
outstripping the natural ability of the planet to break down
and re-absorb these unnatural substances.
In the air, in water and on the ground, man is
relentlessly suffocating the planet with his waste.
The need for a responsible, effective waste management
service has never been greater.
